I designed a marketing and informational website for Intellistructures, a company that delivers full-service supply and installation for timber frame, mass timber, and SIPs construction. The goal of the project was to clearly communicate a highly technical offering while positioning Intellistructures as a credible, experienced partner within a specialized construction market.


This project involved the end-to-end design of a modern marketing website and visual identity for a company that had operated for over two decades with no formal marketing presence, relying entirely on word-of-mouth referrals. Starting from a minimal one-page site, I focused on establishing a credible, polished digital foundation—including logo design—that reflects the quality, experience, and professionalism of the business while translating a complex offering into a clear, structured experience.

The work encompassed defining a cohesive visual system, content structure, and overall presentation that aligned with the existing IntelliPros brand while clearly differentiating Intellistructures’ full-service offering. By balancing consistency across related businesses with clear service distinction, this case study demonstrates my ability to design within established brand constraints, maintain visual coherence, and create clarity across multiple offerings without diluting brand identity.

Establishing the visual foundation

I began the project by establishing a cohesive set of brand assets for Intellistructures. The goal was to modernize the existing logo while preserving its core geometric form, ensuring continuity with the original identity while elevating its clarity and professionalism. This approach allowed the brand to feel refreshed and contemporary without losing recognition or credibility built over time.

Alongside the logo, I defined the typography and color palette and consolidated these decisions into a concise, one-page brand guide to ensure consistency across applications. To maintain a clear connection to IntelliPros, I retained the orange accent color used in the existing IntelliPros website—creating visual alignment between the two businesses while allowing Intellistructures to stand as a distinct offering within the broader brand ecosystem.

Website architecture

With the visual system and brand guidelines established, I moved on to designing the website. The project required a one-page scrolling landing site and a splash page that directed users to the appropriate business—Intellistructures or IntelliPros—based on their needs. I began by creating basic wireframes for both the homepage and the splash page to establish structure, hierarchy, and user flow.


The design direction emphasized a professional, modern, and premium positioning, appropriate for a B2B audience. I focused on creating a clean, sophisticated layout that feels elevated compared to typical construction sites, while remaining image-forward and industry-appropriate. The goal was to communicate expertise and quality visually, making the site both approachable for prospective clients and reflective of Intellistructures’ specialist services.

Final design

Based on the approved wireframes, I designed the website with professionalism, credibility, and ease of use as the primary objectives. The homepage features a video of an active construction site to immediately convey the nature of the business, followed by clearly structured service sections and call-to-actions in every section to guide users toward scheduling a consultation. The splash page efficiently directs visitors to the site that best fits their needs—either Intellistructures or IntelliPros—saving time and improving the user experience.

Visually, the design uses blueprint-style images of construction sites subtly underlaid in sections to reinforce the industry context without overwhelming the user. The layout emphasizes hierarchy, clarity, and readability, ensuring that key information is easy to scan and understand. Combined with the previously established brand system—including the refreshed logo, typography, and color palette—the final design communicates trust, expertise, and a premium positioning appropriate for general contractors, project owners, and homeowners seeking specialized construction solutions.

The final website provides a practical, professional, and easy-to-navigate experience that clearly communicates Intellistructures’ expertise. Designed to be image-forward and structured rather than flashy, it guides users efficiently to the services they need while reinforcing the company’s premium, specialist positioning. Built on a scalable brand system, the site supports lead generation, aligns with the IntelliPros brand, and is positioned for long-term growth.
